Fauzi As’ad Studio

In Yogyakarta, the Fauzi As’ad studio was established in 2006 as a result of a catastrophic earthquake and subsequent humanitarian crisis in the city and surrounding region. Fauzi As’ad established the Art Care Indonesia program, operated out of his home and studio, initiating a series of programs to raise funds for disaster relief through the sale of donated artwork. In addition to his own art practice, As’ad has been instrumental in organizing exchanges and exhibitions between Indonesia and Liechtenstein, where he also has a studio, working with multiple stakeholders in Indonesia and Europe to increase awareness of Indonesian artists and contemporary art. In addition to functioning as a private studio, the Fauzi As’ad Studio is also home to a number of artists to interact and organize.The Fauzi As’ad Studio is located in the Southern region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as well as in Schaan, Liechtenstein. ana-hiltiAnna Hilti (b. 1980, Liechtenstein) studied fine art at Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst, Luzern, majoring in illustration from 2001-2005, and her work has subsequently been exhibited in Liechtenstein and other European countries. Recent exhibitions include Disappearing in Wisconsin, Carte Blanche, Kunstmuseum, Liechtenstein; Mediterranea 16, Young Artist Biennale, Ancona, Italy; and Wish you were here, Roodkapje, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Hilti lives and works in Zürich and Liechtenstein.

 

 

 

 

 

fauzi-asadFauzi As’ad (b. 1968, Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia) graduated from Institut Seni Indonesia, Yogyakarta and received a scholarship from Liechtenstein. As’ad has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in China, Germany, France, Indonesia, Liechtenstein, and Senegal. His most recent exhibition was Kunst auf Augenhöhe, Hollabolla Gallery, Eschen, Liechtenstein; Sculpture, the Sportpark of Schellenberg, Liechtenstein; and KIAF11, Seoul, South Korea. He lives and works in Liechtenstein.
